Central Michigan Life was honestly such an amazing first job for me in the photojournalism world. I started as a freelance photographer and worked my way up to a staff member. The photog team has become like family to me and I’m disappointed to be leaving them. From our weekly meetings filled with snapchat wars and plans for the week, to our photog parties when we reached certain milestones, it truly has been absolutely amazing. Kaiti was such a fabulous photo editor and I’m glad I got to have her as my first editor! She literally pushed me so much to be the best photographer I could be and gave me so many opportunities, and I’m so thankful for that. I’m incredibly nervous to be transferring to be a photo intern at University Communications (UCOMM) with Steve Jessmore, Claire, and Bri, but at the same time I’m so excited to see what opportunities I will experience there.
