Still Life

This assignment went really well I think. Shooting still life was originally how I got into photography, so it was fun going into the studio and being able to mess around with the lights while shooting some stuff I had been thinking about for a while. The Coke shoot went really well, everything came out as I pictured it. The fish photos on the other hand took a little bit of more work. Our fish is insanely sassy and was bitter about being transferred so much, so she kept going into the one angle of the glass where I couldn’t see her. When we turned the glass to get her where I wanted, she would swim back to her spot while the glass was moving. We eventually got her to calm down and just stay in the middle. Insanely huge amounts of thanks to Carrie for both pouring the Coke for me as well as modeling for the fish photo!
